The Crook and the Flail were inseparable & crossed over
their chest. Both remained with the Pharaoh until his death and were buried
with him to be used in the beyond. Do we know what they stand for? The Crook
was the staff of the shepherd to lead their sheep. Thus, it represents his role
as a shepherd in caring for the people of Egypt being the herdsman of humanity.
While the Flail was a tool used by peasants to thresh grain. Thus , it
represents his role in providing for the people of Egypt as essential element
